THE BOOK OF MORMON SLEUTH 3 ( O DETECTIVE DO LIVRO DE MORMON 3)

When I got to the door I took hold of the wheel and pulled on it. But instead of coming open, the door wouldn't budge.

"Try the other way!" said Shauna, sounding a little frantic.

I spun the wheel until it came to a stop, then pulled as hard as I could, but it was no use.

Jeff raised his hands in disbelief and said, "Somebody must have locked it from the outside!"

It's been a full year since Brandon and his brother Jeff and their sisters Shauna and Meg survived their harrowing adventure in Siberia. Now they are back in Alaska with their parents, ready to enjoy the free cruise the family missed out on the previous summer.

But the fun is interrupted when the four siblings find themselves accidentally trapped on a luxury yacht, operated by some shady characters and headed for who knows where. Things really get scary when they run into an old enemy who has already revealed himself to be as ruthless as he is determined.

Luckily, Brandon has already discovered how to use the scriptures to survive the adventures that keep coming at him.

 

 

Quando cheguei à porta, peguei o puxador. Mas em vez de vir abrir a porta não se movia.

"Tenta doutra maneira!" Shauna disse, soando um pouco frenética.

Girei a roda até que veio a uma parada, em seguida, puxei o maximo que podia, mas não funcionava.

Jeff levantou as mãos em descrença e disse: "Alguém deve te-la bloqueado na parte de fora!"

Passou um ano inteiro desde que Brandon e seu irmão Jeff e suas irmãs Shauna e Meg sobreviveram a uma aventura angustiante na Sibéria. Agora eles estão de volta no Alasca com seus pais, pronto para desfrutar de um cruzeiro grátis que a família perdeu no verão anterior.

Mas a diversão é interrompida quando os quatro irmãos encontram-se acidentalmente presos em um iate de luxo, praticado por alguns personagens obscuros e que se dirigem para quem sabe onde. As coisas realmente se tornam assustadoras quando se deparam com um velho inimigo, que já revelou ser tão cruel, como determinado.

Felizmente, Brandon já descobriu como usar as escrituras para sobreviver as aventuras que continuam vindo para ele.
