AlMA AND THE ZORAMITES (ALMA E OS ZORAMITAS)

Zoram and his prideful people have corrupted their religion which teaches them to boast of their righteousness and persecute the poor. Alma and Amulek fail to persuade the rich Zoramites to repent. Alma ministers to the poor believers and teaches one of the most important lessons on faith and humility. Zoram forces the believers in Antionum from their land where they finally find refuge with Lamanite converts in Jershon.

Zoram e seu povo é um povo orgulhoso e corrompeu a religião que ensina e a se vangloriar de sua justiça e persegue os pobres. Alma e Amuleque não conseguem convencer os ricos zoramitas a se arrepender. Alma prega aos crentes pobres e ensina uma das lições mais importantes sobre a fé e a humildade. Zoram forças os crentes em Antionum da terra onde eles finalmente encontram refúgio com lamanitas convertidos em Jérson.
